About Us

More like a trip halfway across the world than a walk through the park, African Arts in the Park is a journey for your imagination and sense of adventure. Featuring four main areas, the Main Stage, The Soko (Marketplace), the Children’s Hut and the Empowerment Village, this festival gives you the chance to watch, shop, learn and participate.

The festival brings together a variety of artists and organizations for a weekend of celebration and the opportunity to share and demonstrate traditional and neo-traditional African Arts, such as mask making, costume-making, storytelling, performances and dance demonstrations.
