About Us

More than a film festival, Silk Screen is a celebration of diversity and multi-cultural appreciation of the Asian and Asian American experience. It is a celebration that opens on May 8th with a celebration, a red-carpet gala complete with local and national performers, colorful and beautiful clothing, delicious ethnic cuisine and yes, the potential for celebrity sightings.

Of course, at the heart of the festival are the films, brought in from around the world. The festival screens more than 20 unique films you may not get a chance to see again. Also coming from around the world are actors and filmmakers who have worked on these films.
