When the weather starts to thaw and you’re feeling the first symptoms of spring fever, here's the perfect cure: the 16th Annual Pittsburgh Jewish Israeli Film Festival! This 18-day festival, a program of the United Jewish Federation, explores and celebrates Jewish and Israeli culture by presenting select films and programs with guest artists from around the world.

Beyond its 25 or so films – as if that isn’t enough! – the Festival brings filmmakers to attend the festival and lead workshops at local universities, features a “Teen Screen” free matinee program for school groups and recently launched a program called “Reel to Real: Generation to Generation,” where teens and seniors watch and discuss movies together.

Whether you want to laugh, cry, learn or be inspired, the festival is the place for the culture, fun and excitement you’ve been waiting for all winter.
